The 2008 Test Prep, Prepware, and Fast Track Test Guides are currently shipping. These editions incorporate the changes detailed in the Updates below. Applicants do not need to "start over" with the new books if you already began your studies with earlier editions of the books or software; you may simply supplement the material in your 2007 or 2006 books with the material from the free Updates available below.
Used in conjunction with the 2007 test books, the Updates in the 2007 Question Updates table ensure you will be adequately prepared for your test and feel confident in your knowledge. If using the Prepware software, select Help/Check for Updates to incorporate these changes into your software; also visit Prepware 9's support page for additional changes to the software. If you are using 2006 editions of our test prep products, you must download both the 2006 and 2007 updates to have all the current information.
The 2008 books and software and Updates below reflect the FAA's tests released June 2007. In September the FAA released new codes to replace the Subject Matter Knowledge Codes (found in Cross-Reference B of the Test Preps, or under the Help menu in Prepware). The Airman Test Report will now list Learning Statement Codes for the questions that are answered incorrectly. Refer to this Learning Statement Reference Guide to interpret what the codes mean. We anticipate the FAA will release new tests in February 2008.

The files below are for users of our 2007 FAA Test Preparation Products. The files on the left hand side of the table are intended for our Test Prep and Fast-Track Manual users. The files are in (.pdf) format, requiring Adobe's free Acrobat Reader to view or print.
NOTE: 'N/A' in the 'Effective Date' column means there are no applicable updates; what you have is current through October, 2007.
Prepware Users: You need to use the update process found within the software via 'Help/Check for Updates'.
Email Updates: Clicking on 'Sign Up' will open your default email client, with the appropriate 'Send to' address filled in automatically. You do not have to enter anything in either the 'subject' line, or in the body of the message. Simply send the message. You will receive a confirmation email.
