If you already have Prepware installed...
Different version years of Prepware will operate independently of each other. If you already have an older version year of Prepware from say 2008 or 2009, skip down to the Download for Windows or Mac.
However, if you have the current version year, for instance, Prepware for Private Pilot 2010 already installed, and you want to add Prepware for Instrument Pilot 2010, you do not need to re-install that version. Simply
open your current Prepware 2010, go to the Help menu at the top, and
choose “Enter Activation Codes.” For Macintosh computers, the “Enter
Activation Codes” link will be in the Prepware menu.
If you DO NOT yet have Prepware 2010 installed, click on the appropriate link below and follow the instructions:

- Save the file to your computer. Do not attempt to "Run" this from the server, the file must be first be "Saved" to your computer.
- Extract the contents. Typically, a right-click on a zip file will give an "Extract All..." option.This will create an Install_Prepware_2010 directory.
- Open the newly created Install_Prepware_2010 folder and double-click the executable named "setup.exe" to begin the installation process.
- Start the program. When installation is completed, Activate and register your software. The 25-digit, activation code will be sent to you in an email after the product purchase is completed.
- Select Help/User’s Guide or Help/Workflow Demo Movies from the top toolbar for instructions on how to use the software.

- When the download is complete, a Prepware 2010 window will open.
- Drag the Prepware 2010 folder in the window from the left, into the Applications folder on the right.
- Open your Finder and click on Applications to find the Prepware 2010 folder. Inside that folder is the Prepware 2010 Application (an icon with a disk, plane, and checkmark). Drag and drop it to your dock, then click on it to open Prepware.
- Activate and register your software. The 25-digit, activation code will be sent to you in an email after the product purchase is completed.
- Select Help/User’s Guide or Help/Workflow Demo Movies from the top toolbar for instructions on how to use the software.
