Updates - Your version of Prepware is noted in the lower right corner of the Choose a Test screen that appears when you first open Prepware. If you have Prepware 2010, it should say something like Version 12.0 . If your software shows something less than 12.2, then you will need to choose the following appropriate updater to bring your software up-to-date:

Attention Prepware School users: Do NOT perform the 12.2 update. Contact ASA for information on updating your 2010 software: 800-426-8338 or 425-235-1500.

1) Click on the appropriate (Windows or Mac)updater, and save the file to your desktop.

For Windows - Windows 12.2 Updater

For Macintosh - Mac - 12.2 Updater

2) Make sure Prepware is closed, then double click the file you just saved, and when the window opens choose Run.

3) When the Prepware window opens, click on Update. When the update is complete, you will receive a message telling you that the update was successful.

4) Open Prepware, and confirm that the version showing in the lower right corner says 12.2.
