- Can you offer any suggestions for making the most of using this form?
Here are a few tips on getting the most out of your flight plan form:
- Use a pencil when entering estimates, preliminary, and variable information. Changes can be made, and errors can be corrected easily with an eraser.
- Highlight areas of particular importance.
- Use different colored pencils or pens while enroute to differentiate between estimated and actual numbers.
- Take your time to write neatly. There is no point in writing down a radio frequency if you can't read it when you need it.
- The sheet allows for up to 9 legs, but if you only need 4, use the space to your advantage. Spread things out, use two lines per leg, write larger, or record additional information that may be helpful to the flight.
