The FAA has recognized IP Trainer, Instrument Refresher: An IPC Simulator, and Student Flight Records: Private, Instrument/Commercial, and Helicopter as FAA/Industry Training Standard (FITS) products, which means these products were found to be more convenient, more accessible, less expensive, and more relevant to today's users of the National Airspace System. IP Trainer and Instrument Refresher are the only desktop flight simulators to achieve this FAA endorsement.
